This is terrible...i'm still so young but i tend to forget so many important stuff...just yesterday I've forgotten my bro's birthday...can you imagine that?? Last time was even worse...I've forgotten dad's birthday and also forgot to go to my church practice though I've been reminded by 3different calls that i need to play...can't believe it...Not only that..I can actually forgot to go to my chinese class though i've been going to it everyweek....This is not good at all

Besides that, I'm so sorry guys and girls if i seem like 'huh? I can't remember...' when we go on a conversation maybe coz i chat too much stuff till things just can't seem to be tatooed on my brain...I know it isn't really nice forgetting what others have told me..but it seems like my brain has little memory space...this is really bad...so, when upcoming event that's really important to me....I so got to save it on my phone and put a reminder for it....

Some may forgive me saying that i'm too busy...but is that really the cause of my forgetfulness?? what about with me smsing too much?? or even me thinking too much?? well if something matters to you...it's quite impossible to one will tend to forget about it right?? but I can just let it slip through my mind..before finally realising what i've forgotten...only then it's too late to be repaired...ish...alright some may see being forgetful is good at certain times when you want to escape from thinking hurtful stuff...i do agree with that..but what are the chances??

Ok...would not like to make this post sound so negative...I'm here opening for opinions on what i can do to boost my memory??? One I can think is..

eating raisins

P/S...happy birthday BRO...you've finally hit the number 20...

OK...i'm bred in the busy little town of Klang....only this year that i began to feel how KAMPUNG i am...hehehe...well...it's when you're entrusted by your parents with the wheels that you get to explore more...and mix with a variety kind of ppl...there's always the pros and cons of course...but definitely it always goes down to your own judgement on what's right...as for ME?? Well...i can be clumsy, silly, childish and playful at times...that's why I am thanking God for great friends that do not take advantage of me...who make time hanging out with me...and all those patience they have to persevere during the cinema with me...hehehe..oh..not all Klang ppl are like me...so, don't worry too much...one of Madeline Kong Wai Shin is definitely for you guys right?

What's so kampung about me??

  1. This week's tuesday was the first time i've played the pool...no idea how was it played but all in all was a pretty good game...if you're playing with nice ppl...no...pool game isn't for the bad boys...WRONG PERCEPTION!!

  2. This week for the first time i've eaten steamboat buffet...first time i tried tom yam flavoured...alright...Klang is not deprived of steamboat...but the ones i usually have is where a bunch of us sit down around a table and order what we want...

  3. OH....i've no idea what lies outside of Klang besides the shopping mall 1U, The curve and Mid Valley...please do not ask me do I know this place so and so...You'll have me looking blankly...and that indicates that you should just get on with your stories..hehehe

  4. Though I am quite adventurous when it comes to driving...as long my car is filled with relatively good amount of petrol...I'm not that afraid of travelling far...the big problem is with me finding back my car in the carpark...Ok...i think few of you do know that I'm clueless when I see places filled with cars.....just couldn't seem to spot my kenari..

  5. Another kampung thing about me is that I need to get a place at least 10TIMES in order for me to not get lost....sorry guys if you need to direct and redirect me...

Ok..it's pretty scary that i realised i've watched 3movies just this week...when i meant movie marathon...the amount of times i've stepped into the cinema outweight my expectation....Really did too many crazy things...now I know why ppl like me should only be given short short breaks...

SHREK3

Well...I actually didn't watch the 1st and 2nd movie...so...during the movie i was like...what? the fairy God mother died? Huh? the King is a frog? hehehe....but all in all there are a few good jokes, though it's mainly just for the wrapping up of the other 2 previous movie...

ALONE

I was the only person screaming in the entire cinema...can't believe it...alright...it was not as great as 'Shutter'....but at least it does have some twist in the story...didn't like it coz they censored a few of the scary part...ish...friends said the movie is so so...but well...it's definitely better than the few horror movies i've watched after 'shutter'

SURF's Up

OK...though i'm not a fan of cartoon...but yeah..do recommend watching this...coz it really keeps you giggling throughout the whole movie...it's actually better than the musical penguin movie premiered last time..can't remember what's the cartoon called..hehehe...but yeah...though this movie is the typical happy ending with a little conflict...worth the watch if you want to amuse yourself...

Alright..i have enough fun during this holiday....really enjoyed a lot...just that i'm getting tired from going out too much..these few days are rest time for me!!

God bless!!

As promised..here's the scoop on what happened on my tour or supposingly a trip to KB land...but we got indulge with some of the mouth-watering dishes available there...though it's a town monopolised by malays...the minorities (chinese) are really humble and hospitable...but due to PAS governing the state...the culture there is really different...big news is that there's NO CINEMA!!!! for a movie freak like me..there's not a place i'm staying permanently...=P..they had to take bus at night...arrive in KL in the morning...catch Spiderman3 and take bus back to KB reaching only the next day..can you imagine that?? all just for 1 movie...and we take for granted the jusco, pyramid, 1U and midvalley near us...start being grateful..hehehe..then there's the slang they have there....here's the scene in a kopitiam for supper

Edric: Sini ada apa?

Waiter: ???!!!???!!!??(mumbled something which we don't understand)

Edric: HUH??

Waiter: ????!!!???!!!??

Edric: HUH?

Waiter:????!!!???!!

The waiter actually thought we couldn't hear him...instead the truth was that we couldn't understand what was mumbled by him....it's not MALAY he's speaking...it's kelantanese...wah...then for them...10pm is considered late...asking friends there to yum cha...you'll get a polite decline saying that it's already late...imagine us klang ppl and our night life...so big big difference....

The best part of the trip....

FOOD

KB mall ice-cream...that's what all of us await...my ice-cream..a scoop of chocolate chip flavour...topped with chocolate sauce and nuts...all in a big cone...cost RM2.50....contributed by RONNIE...he did fufil his promise on treating me this...yay!...what's nice is the taste of the cone..really complementing the ice cream.

Where's JO??

ok....too bad that jo wasn't there to see his pose...hehehe...so, justin is holding the ice-cream RM2.90 with this edric behind there adding some effects...just's ice-cream seems really lovely with all those heart-shaped candy sprinkled on top of the choc sauce...

Well...the dessert came before before the main dish....oops!!...hehehe...this dish is called 'khao jam' we made fun it before knowing the actually spelling of this delicacy...we thought it was 'cow jump' hehehe...it's a combination of rice that is green in colour...along with fish flakes...santan..onion and cucumber...there's pieces of keropok ikan by the side and the sambal was spicy hot and a little sour....all in all..everyone agreed that it was really nice....

ok....this is the lantern-shaped decoration that i took from the shop which served 'khao jam'..what's interesting about this is that it is made from those can drinks you see everyday...cool eh?

ACTIVITIES

What did we do there? Well, we took over the worship on thur's night bible study and also fri morning service...was really great....

Band practising a little before the worship

Here's the whole band...except for gideon behind the drums...

camp fire on the beach...we girls posing..cool?

All in all..i really enjoyed the trip....was really blessed by them...was fun having all my good friends around me..missing jo and anne...so wish you could join us...but still glad i'm back..next trip...to the cinema!!

GOD bless!!

P/S ...Mcdonald can actually go bankrupt there coz it's not so popular there...and before this trip..had so so much fun in the curve and sunway lagoon...nice nice holidays

Looking back...I'm totally different from the way I used to be....Well..see for yourself...

1st in terms of Physical Appearance

Short Hair...more flesh...younger ............................Long hair...thinner and more mature

Well...let's not go into appearance...on whether the new me looks better coz i'm still Madeline Kong Wai Shin right from birth...but what's really different is that...i tend to smile more now...due to my additional blurness and playfulness...i've been labelled as being cute as well...i used to be the serious Wai Shin that friends go to for advice or just plain listening...used to be the person that i could mix with adults 5years older and still talked as if I was their peer....My life was just serious...and wanting to be more mature....portraying someone way beyond my age...Iron lady...that's what a guy told me...as if i place a shield around myself...on guard when there's ppl around me...somewhat the tai ka jie

Now that i've entered college for more than a year now...time really flies....things seem to change around me..the friends I mix with are somewhat wiser, more outgoing, naughtier and what's more...unpredictable...adapting wasn't the problem...but somehow things took a toll in my life...started smiling more...and being just the plain girl next door...actually i like the now me better...coz felt that a smile can change alot...felt that it's ok to do errors....and i don't really have to live up to much expectation....it's so much cooler this way...oh...i start talking more as well...hehehe...anyway..it's really fun now.....going KB in few hours time...hope it's gonna be great for God!!

God bless

Yeah...gosh i miss Sue May with her 'Wo hui jiang hua yu' for those bananas out there...got to admit i am in the guilty zone as well...the phrase means that 'I can speak mandarin' hehehe...Yeah...will just argue with may may on who speaks better...

Alright, here are a few tips for those not so beginners to pick up this language...that's what i'm feeding myself with these holidays...

1st

Watch DRAMAS!!!

Be it Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese, Singorean.....anything...as long as it is dubbed into Mandarin..that's your show...there you get to learn to read characters by picking up their conversation...

Supply from, thanks to: Li Anne, Sherrine and Mayvern...

2ND

Well, just started this recently...learning chinese from comic books...hehehe...definitely much more interesting than all those school text book.....coz i really want to know the content of the book...got to admit..it's pretty cool learning chinese this way...one big thing is you need a TRANSLATOR...coz you won't be able to figure out the characters yourself

Anyone care to guess what comic book is this?? just look at those words...took me half an hour to flip a page...hehehe

Yeah...typical me..hehehe...bro commented this morning....what's with girls and dramas...and when i picked that comic out from the shelf..bro went ' you sure?'..hehehe..well, nothing wrong to try new stuff..ain't that so? So, anyone up for fun learning in Chinese...i still remembered what pastor Ryan told about him taking the first step towards learning chinese..bought some cd from popular and ending up with cd full of picture of cartoons popping up...hehehe...there are ways to achieving something if you push out in a little effort...well...but don't think i'll be achieving much these holidays..since i'm always super busy...*cough cough* busy with the idiot box...hehehe

I'm off to KB this coming thursday..sure do hope that i'll gain plenty from the trip...am thankful for being able to go with good friends...almost all my sleepover gang...sorry joe...sorry that you won't be joining us..but yeah..gonna blog about it there...get a nice pic of us band praising God...and have fun just talking to each other in the dark sky on the beach...wahh...hope it does turn out as sweet as i visualise....

God bless!!!

Sunday, 17 June 2007

Well...yeah..since i do blog..actually felt that the ones in friendster are pretty lame..so..tried out here...should be fun now that i'm able to post some images...

OK...been having this craze nowadays...i got my mom hooked up on it..that's SUNSWEET PRUNES...i think my mom and me totalled bought around 7 of these packet of prunes...since the days of my exams..what's so great about it??it's definitely the healtiest snack...erm..for me...and edible on the spot...not to mention good for constipation and digestion..rich in anti-oxidant and the best fact...LOW in calorie!!

Mom always buy 2 jar of it..coz one is never enough for the both of us...

That's how it looks like inside..of course..3 quarter eaten whenever it first arrives my tv room...

Well...yeah..so, you see...tempted to try?? It's kind of pricy though with one costing RM7.35...tesco price....and RM7.95 in a smaller grocery stall....guess..it's still kind of worth it compared to eating chips and junks for snacks..what's more with prunes around..i've slowed down on my chocolate intake...hehehe...nope...i still haven't lose a single pound from the transition...hehehe...

Alright...i'm blessed with holidays after my agonizing exams...but still kind of too short for me...with nonstop going around for movies and food...i so wish i have another month to spare...ok..but it does burn a hole in my pocket...nevertheless...pampering myself this holidays is just what i'm going to do...

God bless!!
