OK...I should really reconsider changing my blogskin. The small font is really irritating me as well... Sorry Tarsem!...lol.

Funny how we all grow up to a different level where we start doing things we would never imagine of doing. It's like for the first time..you're in control of your life. Every decision you made has a consequences and it's gonna affect the life you live in. With my decision to work, my decision to take 3 papers (praying hard I'll pass) and my decision to connect with friends...

It used to be parents deciding your time. Your future. Where to go and what to do...lol...the days when everything you wanna get depends on your parents. They know exactly where you are and what you're doing...

One part bout growing up, the problems you faced are greater as well..you get friends coming to you with really mind blogging problems when it's in school, it used to be just studies and exams...you have heartache break ups from commited relationships...future so gloomy coz you're not passing exams or you've chosen the wrong courses...depression from horrible working environment..

SIGH..I miss holidays..I miss our acca trips together..I miss eating mcd with sifu, yi ting and yeng han...I miss adventuring food with Bw, I miss playing keyboard in church and I miss eating dinner outside with my family...Conclusion, I have to make sure I graduate very soon!!

IF I WERE A BOY

Nope, I'm not trying to re-sing Beyonce's hits but as I was celebrating Yew Jin's birthday yesterday, I realised a fact. lol. I know no guys are perfect. And yes, Fly.fm DJs were debating about this issue a couple of days ago. We girls..correct me if i'm wrong, all we can do is accept and be happy with a ppl that is around you...but if I were a boy...

I would generously treat my girlfriend to a nice meal at least once a month..pamper her that day with good food, good movie and a shoulder to lean on...On other days, I'll initiate to pay for every single meal...if i'm broke...lol...suggest going mamak...

And one surprise which always work on girls though this is an old trick is to send her flowers in front of her colleagues/friend/church friend/relatives....make sure someone knows she's getting a bouquet to make her feel special and during a time when she does not expect that.

Everytime while she shops or we hang out in shopping malls, as she picks on the outfit..or greedily getting some snacks...i'll wander around looking out for her next gift...be it a nice necklace or a handbag...something she'll wear or bring around to proudly display it...

I'll proudly declare she's my girl in front of my friends when i do bring her around..I'll introduce her to them and help her starts conversation as she gets to know my best buddies...

Most importantly, I'll be generous with her family....if she has younger siblings, i'll take time to fetch them around...i'll bring gifts for her mom...talk to her mom...show my sincerity.....lol

Yea, if i were a boy...I'll do all that stuff...BUT I'm a girl...lol...ok ok...dreams over...back to my ACCA books!

How to choose for life?

Ok. Was in the cell group today then Pastor was discussing about relationship and he provided us with this material which i find quite handy, practical and realistic. Ask yourself these questions when a guy is going after you or when you feel you wanna initiate with that girl.

1. Choose someone who is happy, not someone who relies on you for happiness.
'- Statistics show that ppl who have learned how to be happy when they are single have a better chance of being happy when they are married.

2. Choose someone who is honest and truthful about him/herself and others.

3. Choose someone who knows hot to work.
'- Laziness is a warning signal! According to the Bible, a person who is not industrious is less wise than an ant. The ants instinctively know that anything worth having is achieved through consistent effort. But the lazy person is always looking for a short-cut. Also, a lazy person may continually blame you for his or her failures after marriage (Proverbs 6:6-11)

4. Choose someone you feel at ease with, someone you be yourself with.

5. Choose someone whod oes not expect you to compromise your convictions.

6. Choose someone who brings out the best in you.

7. Choose someone you respect, not someone you feel sorry for.

Friday 17 April 2009

Was talking to mom the other day and this topic came up:

Mom: How's your friend doing in ACCA? (refering to someone my mom met before)

Me: Not sure. Haven't really talked to him. I'm so busy lahhh..

Mom: He still wanna do ACCA meh? So tough.

Me: I really donno. I can give you his number, then you advise him le (in a joking manner)

Mom: Oh, and don't mix with the other goodlooking guy too, you can't really trust guys who are pretty.

Me: Ok..lol. But i talk more to him than the first guy you mention (teasing mom)

Mom: Sigh, don't do that. I think you should fing one that is well to do. At least don't need to suffer in the future.

Well..I felt mom was so random. She talked to me bout my future relationship like a thousand times. Conclusion said:

1. Strong christian
2. Well to do
3. Good education
4. MOST IMPORTANTLY, my MOM has to like you.

So, i'm calling anyone out there who meets the requirement....LOL. Sigh..No, I'm not desperate.
I don't want to die of busyness at this young age. Studies and work for me now!

I used to think that if a guy loves you more than you do, that's when the girl is enjoying happiness...Seems like not everything is really perfect. That overdo-ing from the guy now seems to be a lil irritating....but when you get a guy who totally ignores you, you start becoming envious of other couples...The irony... I had my share experience of both worlds... In conclusion... only when a balanced guy comes in, I guess any combination of relationship will be unfair. Ok...this is from a girl's perspective. Of course I want my prince charming...as for whether I'm snow white or cinderella... lol! Heck, I'm an evolving ugly duckling...LOL

Oh, and this was a picture i took months ago..in KLANG...I'm so embarrassed...

No allow outside foods
1. Should be "No outside food allowed"
2. Food cannot be plurarise....no 's' should be there...*shake head*

Hot V Cute

Here's the long awaited result...HOT Guys Won!! Lol. No, I'm not being bias, I actually ran a survey among 7 of my colleagues (all female) and the majority goes to savvy looking, gorgeous dressing HOT and HOT guys. Lol. Well, they commented as girls can be cute, therefore, guys got
to be hot! Ok.. How did this came about?

Remember in the previous post i was writing about me highlighting my hair (results are not that visible). Well, the guy doing up my hair looks kind of cute and gentle. He laughs a lot, and so, it was entertaining seeing him trying to change my hair style. AND to test what others would comment, I put up a PM on my windows live messenger stating:

'Cute guys are heaven sent'

Mun Khea was the first to comment. She said:
The guy you're talking about is Jesus right?? I've never seen him before though.

There she goes pulling my legs. Hehehe

Then Tarsem commented:
Sounds like a bimbo. That is so unfair to non-cute guys...

I didn't mean that...ooops

Cheryl (les) said:
What did you do to my friend Wai Shin..She doesn't say all this kind of stuff..

Awww...i'm being exposed to the world more...

Yew Jin started the debate:
What do you mean by cute..For me, cute is more of being adorable (attitude wise) while hot is all about the looks..

Starts the debate of what i felt...cute comes in turn of looks as well.. while hot may be affected by the way you dress.. hot ppl tend to have the possessive side, the sexy side and the cool side.

Well, however, one can't deny that everyone loves the cute

David Archuleta!

Nope, I don't fancy him. It's just that I'm kind of sick hearing him over the radio so many times. LOL

Thursday 9 April 2009

Ok. I'm so commited to updating my blog already. I guess even you guys must have been tired of the non-updated site i'm keeping here. Yea, like wai king will say, spider webs detected. The whole problem bout updating it now is that i don't really have the connection. My dearest unhelpful brother is back for industrial training. Whole 3 months i'll be having unstable bandwidth. Can i possibly survive that? Now that tv is no longer a media of entertainment for me.

Wow. The things i did ever since the last post was attending Jason Mraz concert, handing in my obu assignment (that nearly killed me), mixing more with Yeng han, sifu and yi ting, bought an ipod touch 1st gen, registered for 3 exam papers, loss weight and highlighted my hair. Lol. It'll take ages just for me to go into detail any of the event above.

My aim for June is to:

1. Look hot (both in dressing, hair style and getting the figure)
2. Pass my exams (Only one route - study really really hard)
3. Getting promoted (Also only one way - work " " ")
4. Enjoy myself in Langkawi (Don't need to prepare for this)
5. Get in touch more with my dearest buddies (ok - i should practise on replying my smses for a start)
6. Update my blog
