Baking Tips with House'daughter' Maddy...

Ok...I am pretty skilful for a youngster...bake, cook, housework, sew, play the piano, dance(learnt ballet since std 1)...only that i'm not that good in sports...it's a so so thing for me...used to represent school during primary for handball and netball..but lost my touch altogether in secondary school where academic took a serious role in my life...lol...

It's the season for CNY..I just got my mood for it...that's when mom decided not to buy cookies...
1. It's too expensive
2. Too sweet for a health-conscious family

So, mom made me dig out my rusty baking skills to make CNY cookies for her...Flipped through recipe books and opted for simple made ones (hint: lazy)

SINFUL...
(Choc coated cornflakes)

Step1 : line up some paper cups...Step2 : mix crushed cornflakes, raisins and roasted nutsStep3 : Estimate sufficient cooking chocolateStep4 : Scrape the bar to make choc shaving for easy melting using a knifeStep5 : Melt the choc through double boiling (using steam as a form of heat) or another less hassle alternative is through a great invention = microwave...and you should be able to guess which method i preferred...lolStep6 : Pour in the melted choc into the dried ingredients...make sure everything is fully coated

and the RESULT...

I'm just making everything in small portions so at least there's variety than quantity...Not for sale though...lol
